南洋瑰寶，星洲沉香，得名於古代海上絲路的稱謂。實則產自印尼諸島熱帶雨林。印尼的鷹木香樹是產生沈香的主要樹種，其結出的沈香在古代就久負盛名，但因數量稀少，只有王公貴族才有緣獲取。早在唐宋時期，阿拉伯商人便將這「南洋奇香」經海上香料之路帶往中土。明代《東西洋考》記載：「星洲沉氣烈而韻長，有破悶醒神之效」，清代《香乘》更稱其「香氣雄健，如壯士擊劍，自成一格」。這些沈香在港口聚集，香氣久久不散，因此被統稱為「星洲」系沈香 。隨著時間推移，「星洲」系沈香逐漸被人們所熟知。
Nanyang treasures, is named after the ancient maritime Silk Road. It originates from the tropical rainforests of the Indonesian islands. Since ancient times, the eagle-wood tree in Indonesia is the primary species that produces agarwood. However, due to its scarcity, only nobles could acquire it. As early as the Tang and Song dynasties, Arab merchants introduced this "Nanyang exotic fragrance" to China during the Tang and Song dynasties. The Ming Dynasty noted its strong aroma and invigorating effects, while the Qing Dynasty described it as robust and unique. Over time, this agarwood became widely recognized.
